Our Story

Filipina interior designer Deanne Ashley Lim moved to the Bay Area to work as an interior designer. In 2020, she found herself quarantined at home due to the pandemic and realized the importance of turning a “house” into a “home." Due to the health crisis, everything was so inaccessible, so Deanne wanted to create a brand that would be able to deliver products that were unique and one of a kind. This is when she started conceptualizing what would become the home decor-focused shop, Twenty Third by Deanne: a brand that specializes in products with character.

Twenty Third by Deanne gets its name from Deanne’s birth date, February 23rd. Eclectic, dynamic, and unique, it echoes the persona of its owner. As a deeply personal small business, Twenty Third connects with its customers who share in the brand’s ideals. Now, Twenty Third is not only a home goods store but a design hub that specializes in designing spaces with timeless pieces that are sourced all over the world, made by talented designers and artisans sharing their culture.
