Our Japanese Vintage Vault makes room for pieces with a less polished, more collected point of view. Kōgan Mortar Bowl Medium is one of them, in the form of a found bowl. Use the bowl as a visual pause between taller objects, or leave it relatively open so its proportion can register on its own. The medium format keeps the piece substantial without making it difficult to layer. With dimensions of 25.5D x 10.5H cm, it remains easy to place within a mixed display. The object can be repositioned as often as needed, which keeps a shelf or tabletop from feeling permanently styled.
